TJ500St. Louis, MO. . .Diagraph is pleased to introduce the TJ500 Thermal Jet Printhead. The TJ500 is a reliable, low cost ink jet system for 1- & 2-line marking and coding. It offers highly reliable thermal jet technology, high-resolution printing, easy-to-change ink cartridge, and a wealth of industrial-grade performance features. In short, it’s the best value for many 1- and 2-line marking/coding applications.

Diagraph’s TJ500 Thermal Jet Printhead is constructed of a sealed, industrial-grade housing with stainless steel faceplate and built-in photo sensors to detect product speed and direction. The Smart Level Ink Detection System* of the TJ500 provides the user with “ink low” and “ink out” status of Diagraph ink cartridges. Lift the hinged cover of the printhead to find a disposable Diagraph ink cartridge that is simple to snap-in and snapout for easy ink replacement.

As a fully licensed HP partner, Diagraph has designed and engineered a thermal jet printhead that is industrial, low-cost, easy to use and truly unique in the product identification marketplace today. Following are some of the key design and performance features of the TJ500 Thermal Jet Printhead:

  • Prints one or two lines of characters 1/4" or 1/2" tall (alphanumerics and UPC-A bar
    codes)

  • The TJ500 can be driven by the IJ3000 ES Controller, a handheld interface, or your PC
  • Hinged cover provides easy access to ink cartridge with easy snap-in/snap-out method

  • Channel purge at the printhead
  • Industrial DB-9 serial connection
