Datamax® "I" Class Overview
The I-Class has been designed for your mission critical barcode label applications in manufacturing, warehouse and shipping environments. This series of printers can handle label sizes up to 4.16” wide at speeds up to 12” per second. And if RFID for High Frequency (13.56 MHz) applications is in your future we recommend looking into this printer line.
Ideal applications for this line of printers include compliance labeling, shipping & receiving, product identification, pharmacy labeling, asset tracking, inventory control and high resolution labeling up to 600 dots per inch. The I-Class from Datamax boasts a 32-bit processor with 8 or 16 MB of standard memory for larger file formats and faster output. You will also notice that the cabinet for the I-Class is larger than the M-Class to give it more room for rewinding printed label rolls up to 6” in diameter. High Frequency (13.56 MHz) RFID capabilities are available with the 4210, 4212, 4406, 4604 and 4308. These models are purchased with the encoder pre-installed and ready for your “slap and ship” tagging applications. This series of printers from Datamax could be a perfect upgrade from an Allegro, Prodigy, Prodigy Plus or Prodigy Max printer from Datamax’s Legacy line which has been discontinued.
