Why Diagraph Believes in Predictable Service Support
Specify Alternate Text

Our customers that realize the most value over the life of their coding and labeling equipment utilize some level of support from our factory-trained field service engineers. We fundamentally believe that service interventions should always be planned, never a surprise. With our flexible service and support options, we put customers in the driver’s seat of deciding when service will be done around their own production schedules.

Through the Predictable Service Support component of our Diagraph Solution Center model, we offer service programs that match the skill level and needs of our customers’ production and maintenance teams, including:

  • Training programs – Our most independent customers with expert maintenance departments regularly subscribe to a training program that not only covers operator and maintenance training at time of install, but also establishes a regular training schedule that keeps new and existing staff up-to-date on the best way to operate and maintain Diagraph equipment.
  • Preventive maintenance agreements – Customers with well-staffed maintenance departments often opt for a preventive maintenance plan that covers labor and travel for preventive maintenance program approved service visits while also enjoying a special discount on labor, parts, and consumables.
  • Custom maintenance agreements – Customers with capable maintenance teams that are constantly pressed for time due to the complexity of their production environment regularly choose a custom maintenance plan that extends beyond a preventive maintenance schedule to cover additional repair services that they know they will be needing throughout the life of their agreement.
  • Premier service agreement – Customers that simply want to know they will always be covered often opt-in to our premier service plan that offers total peace of mind if anything goes wrong at one fixed monthly or up-front cost. This comprehensive maintenance and repair coverage includes labor, parts, and repairs throughout the life of the agreement with the added benefit of priority scheduling.

When you work with Diagraph, you’re backed by a nationwide network of factory-trained field service engineers. The Diagraph Predictable Service Support program is just one of the ways we partner with customers to deliver tangible value throughout a long-term relationship. Our technical service teams will ensure you are maximizing the full value of your coding and labeling equipment while always keeping an eye to the future to help you scale up for future capacity and complexity.

Companies rely on engineers or technicians to keep production lines up and running. These job functions are essential to hitting production targets, so it is key that their skill level on equipment is proficient. When making the decision to replace this equipment, the amount of time and money that will have to be invested in training your labor is a major deciding factor.
  • Don’t let fast drying ink slow down your CIJ coding process Posted 2 years ago
Continuous inkjet printers (CIJ) use super-fast drying solvent-based inks. One of the technology challenges presented by these inks is that they aren’t too particular wherethey dry. With CIJ technology, the formation of drops from an inkjet stream creates a mist (or satellite drops) which builds up a layer of ink over time on the components inside the CIJ print head, causing print failure. Routine cleaning of ink with solvent from the components in a print head is required to maintain best print quality and uptime.

Something to be aware of when considering using labeling for product identification in a hot or humid environment is that labels are sensitive to temperature, making facility environment temperature a determining factor in choosing what label material to use on a product.
